Dillon and Dunne win again with Athlone
Kealan Dillon and Shane Dunne helped Athlone Town to joint-top of the League of Ireland First Division tonight.
However, the news wasn't as good for Tim Clancy and Drogheda Utd.
For Shane Dunne and Kealan Dillon there was a hard-earned 1-0 win at St Colman's Park against hosts Cobh Ramblers that leaves Athlone sharing top spot with Bray on six points ahead of the visit of Shelbourne next weekend.
That also gave Athlone their first away win in almost two years and made it three in-a-row as they prepare to host Galway Utd on Monday night in the League Cup.
THere was no joy for Tim Clancy's Drogheda Utd as they conceded three second-half goals to Longford Town to
go from 4-0 for last week to 0-3 against this week.
Luke Heeney and Luke McNally both featured for Drogheda who will be back in action on Monday night in the
League Cup against Cabinteely and then travel to LImerick at the weekend.
