VIDEO: The kids taking over the Pairc Tailteann pitch at half-time was magical
It was party time at Pairc Tailteann and the kids were certainly going to make the most of it.
On the stroke of half-time the gates were thrown open to some of the Meath football stars of the future.
The 'Bring a Ball' campaign has been a huge success since the initiative was launched by Meath GAA at the start of the National League campaign.
Today, as Meath went into the break leading Fermanagh by 1-4 to 0-6 points, dozens of children stormed onto the Pairc Tailteann pitch and it was a sight to behold and provided some half-time entertainment for the estimated 5,000 crowd.
Meath came back out after the youngsters cleared the way to complete the job over Fermanagh 2-12 - 0-11 and secure promotion back to Division 1 of the NFL.
