St Colmcille's started well and raced into a 0-3 to 0-0 lead after just three minutes, but by the 13th minute Na Fianna were level and with Shane Walsh in fine form they led by 0-6 to 0-5 at half-time.
Within 90 seconds of the restart Harrison Silke punched a goal toput Na Fianna in the driving seat and when Jamie Queeney found the net eight minutes later to make it 2-7 to 0-7 they looked comfortable.
However St Colmcille's were dangerous throughout with Graham Reilly impressing and after Na Fianna saw their lead cut to four they then lost James Geagan to a second yellow card as st Colmcille's piled on the pressure.
