Consultations to take place on the regeneration of Flower Hill
What would you like to see happening on Flower Hill?
The public will get their chance to say what they'd like to see in the regeneration of Flower Hill in Navan, as an initial consultation process will take place on 1st May in the Town Hall at which people can give their views.
Consultants Paul Hogarth and Company will be drawing up an overall urban design for the Flowerhill and Abbeylands area over the coming months and they want input from the people of the area.
"We will be asking people what Flower Hill means to them and what they want to see there," James Hennessy of Paul Hogarth and Co told last week's meeting of Navan Municipal District Council.
"We will be looking at long term strategy, but also short term interventions.
"The area has huge potential and we want to make the most of it," he said.
Mr Hennessy explained that for the consultation on 1st May, people will be able to walk in and talk to planners and consultants on a one to one basis and give their ideas.
"We will come back to the public again when we start to make plans around their suggestions," he said.
So get your thinking caps on and you will have a chance to to have your say!
