Essential works on the water mains in Ashbourne is underway

Irish Water in partnership with Meath County Council wish to advise customers that essential water mains flushing will be carried out in Ashbourne intermittently from today, Tuesday 30 April until Tuesday 11 June. During this time flushing of the water mains will be carried out on weekdays from 9am to 5pm. 

Flushing of the water mains will help to safeguard the water supply and will improve the quality of the water supply in the area. During these essential planned works, homes and businesses in the area may experience intermittent disruption to their water supply such as low pressure or temporary discolouration of their water supply. The areas affected are as follows; Slane Road, Ashbourne; Tudor Grove; Milltown Road; Garden City and Ashbourne Centre.

Irish Water wish to apologise for any inconvenience caused by these essential works that are necessary to safeguard the water supply for homes and businesses in Ashbourne.
