Water disruption in Navan
There will be disruption to water supplies in Navan and surounding areas for most of the day as repairs take place on a burst watermain.
There may be disruption to supply in Navan town; Trim Road; Ardbraccan; Dunderry; Bohermeen; Ongenstown; Boyerstown; Blackcastle; Silverlawn; Boyne Road; Windtown Road; Gibbstown; Oristown; Rossmeen; Mullaghboy and Clogherboy.
Irish Water is working in partnership with Meath County Council to repairthe burst watermain.
Crews are on site working to repair the burst as quickly and as safely as possible.
Traffic management will be in place for the duration of these works.
The repair is expected to be completed this evening though it may take a number of hours for the water supply to return in full to all impacted properties. Supply is being maintained to the greater area of Navan town including the hospital from Carne Hill reservoir.
"Irish Water understands the inconvenience when a burst occurs and thanks customers for their patience while we work to repair the burst and restore normal supply to impacted customers," said a spokesperson.
