Geraghty returns for Meath hurlers
Meath captain Sean Geraghty returns from a lengthy injury to lead the Royals into Christy Ring Cup action against London at Pairc Tailteann on Sunday.
Geraghty damaged his spleen in a challenge match against Derry back in January, but he returned to the playing fields last month when he lined out for Ballinlough in the Meath IFC and is available for manager Nick Fitzgerald.
Geraghty ios one of four changes from the Meath team that started the 3-16 to 3-10 NHL Div 2A victory over London in trim in February and he will be partnered at midfield by another of those changes, Kiltale's Cathal mcCabe.
Clann na nGael's Eamon Ó Donnchadha and Ratoath's Gavin McGowan also come into the team with Fionn Ferguson, Kevin Keena and Sean Quigley all absent while Stephen Morris will take his place on the bench.
James Toher will also miss Sunday's game with a slight injury, but he is expected to return for consideration for the second round game against Kildare.
