From dawn walks to Camelot era, Pairc Tailteann to President... busy weekend ahead

It will be a busy weekend across the county with five locations hosting Darkness into Light walks, the Kennedy cousins in Trim for the Dot Tubridy Exhibition, and the President in Navan for the Choral Festival.
Darkness Into Light walks start at 4.15am in Trim, Navan, Fairyhouse, Enfield and Moynalty.  
On Sunday in Trim, Courtney Kennedy Hill, daughter of Bobby and Ethel, and Sydney Kennedy Lawford McKelvy, daughter of Patricia Kennedy and Peter Lawford, will be in Trim Visitor Centre to open the exhibition that marks the first anniversary of Dot Tubridy's death.  
The 'Trim, Ireland and the Kennedy Clan', exhibition will show letters, photographs, and showjumping memorabilia associated with the late Dot Tubridy and her husband, Captain Michael Tubridy, an Irish showjumper who died in a riding accident at Trimblestown Stud, Kildalkey, in 1953. 
A special tour of Trim Castle is arranged on Saturday at 12.30pm where historical characters will be brought to life in costume to greet the Kennedys. Music will be performed by Leah Barniville. 
Navan will be busy on Saturday with two confirmation ceremonies taking place in St Oliver's and St Mary's churches.
It will be busy on Sunday too, with two GAA matches taking place, Meath taking on London in hurling, and taking on Offaly in the first round of the Leinster senior football championship.
President Michael D Higgins is to attend the final event of the Navan Choral Festival in the Newgrange Hotel on Sunday evening to mark the 40th anniversary of the festival.
The festival concludes on Sunday with the prestigious National Choir of the Year Competition sponsored by the Rotary Club of Navan.

Dunderry village will be on fete on Sunday for the annual Dunderry Fair Day, now 15 years in existence.
