Sybil Mulcahy to choose best 'Summer Colours' at Proudstown

Editor of Evoke.ie and former TV presenter Sybil Mulcahy is the celebrity fashion judge for Summer Ladies Day at Navan Racecourse on Saturday 1st June. 

There are fantastic prizes to be won including a shopping spree in Trim boutiques Ebony and Stiletto Shoes, a full hair makeover from Ben Garry Hairdressing, and a weekend break for two in the Knightsbrook Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort thanks to the Cusack Hotel Group, including dinner on one night.

Sybil will have the unenviable task of selecting the five best dressed finalists and the overall winner of Summer Ladies Day. This year Navan Racecourse has allocated the theme ‘Summer Colours’ to encourage ladies to embrace the summer and incorporate colour into their outfit.

Sybil said: “I am thrilled to be part of this fantastic day and look forward to seeing the style. I love colour and look forward to seeing the ladies’ individual styles, be it an entire outfit of colour or just a pop. And of course, a summer racing outfit wouldn’t be complete without a headpiece.” 

The day also plays host to top class Flat racing with an exciting seven race card, the first race off at 12.35pm.

The day is always extremely popular with the ladies and it’s the perfect way to kick off the June Bank Holiday Weekend.” 

Ladies are advised to arrive early with registration taking place in the Ladies Day marquee located close to the parade ring from 11am. Finalists will be invited to the parade ring, where the overall winner will be announced.  Further information available at www.navanracecourse.ie
