Meath GAA Minor and U-16 Football Focus
Following Saturday's winning start to the 2019 Leinster u-16 Gerry Reilly FT Laois (4-18 to 3-12) at Portarlington on Saturday, Meath have a bye this weekend.
Against Laois Meath established a 3-9 to 0-5 interval advantage.
The Meath goals were scored by Ruairi Kinsella, Alan Bowden and Like Caffrey and after the resumption Meath stretched their lead with points from Kinsella, Cian Smyth and a second Bowden goal.
Meath used all 12 substitutes and although Laois closed the gap with three late goals this was a fantastic performance by Meath.
