All you need to know for this week's Funfest at Tayto Park
Over the weekend a host of entertainers from the worlds of music, circus, family entertainment, dance and art will come together for the inaugural Tayto Park Funfest.
With a bill of over 50 international and Irish music and entertainment acts taking to the main stage over the weekend including Nathan Carter, Rak-Su, The Blizzards, Key West, Atomic Kitten, Liberty X and many more, FunFest is set to be the ultimate family day out this summer. With TV and radio presenter, Lucy Kennedy as the Tayto Park FunFest MC, festival goers will get to enjoy unlimited entries on all the attractions at Tayto Park PLUS these amazing international and Irish acts across two stages, family entertainment including the Magical World of Pirates Show, puppet shows, street food stalls, dance workshops, juggling shows and much more. The festival is running from 10am to 9.30pm so it's a full day out for all the whole family to enjoy.
Here’s everything you need to know..
Upon arrival
Upon arrival you will be directed to the admissions building where there will be multiple ticket entry points. Please note you will be directed to the best point of entry based on your ticket type and group size.
Bag search will be conducted upon entering Tayto Park.

By Car:
From Dublin:
· Take the M2 towards Ashbourne (exit 5 on the M50 signposted 'Derry/Slane').
· Once on the M2 continue to the very end of the motorway until you come to a roundabout. Take the first exit onto the N2 signposted 'Slane'.
· Continue on the N2 for 3.8km before turning left onto the R155 to Curragha (signposted 'Dunshaughlin/Ratoath').
· Follow this road until it brings you to a roundabout at the entrance to Tayto Park.
From Belfast:
· Take the M1 Southbound to Junction 9, exit toward Drogheda/Donore/Duleek
· At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Rathmullan Park. At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit, continue under the bridge and straight through the 3rd roundabout onto the R152.
· Continue on the R152 for 9.2 miles until you reach the N2. Turn left and continue for a mile until you see the sign for Tayto Park.
· Turn right at the traffic lights after the sign and continue straight until you see the entrance.
Tayto Park has free parking available for all visitors. Car park attendants will direct you to the best suitable carpark for your group.
Coach parking is available.
Accessible parking is available. Standard conditions apply and a European Parking Card or Disabled Parking Badge must be displayed.
Extra Tickets
Tayto Park FunFest tickets can now be purchased on arrival during the festival weekend. Festival goers can avail of tickets on arrival for €50 per entry or receive a further reduction and purchase online for €45 per entry.
