Dunboyne on the double at Oldcastle 5k
St Brigid's AC hosted the annual Oldcastle 5k last night in wet conditions around the streets of the north Meath town
Various prize categoris included first six Senior M&F; first three Under 20 male and female (M&F); first three over 40 M&F first two over 50 M&F; first over over 60 M&Fand first over 70 M&F.
Peter Somba was an impressive winner of the men's race in 15:34 while Claire Ni Fhaircheallaigh took the ladies race in 19:45 to make it a double for the Dunboyne club.

The races also catered for runners over-70 which was the oldest category and Rose Healy (Fr Murphy) won the ladies section with the men's race going to Tom Durcan from Bohermeen.
