FAI EGM in Dunboyne on 20th July
The Football Association of Ireland has today informed members that an EGM will be held at the Dunboyne Castle Hotel on Saturday 20th July.
The EGM has been called to facilitate rule changes required to implement some of the recommendations contained
in the Governance Review Group report ahead of the AGM in Trim a week later on 27th July.
The EGM will take place at 5.30pm on 20th July, following the Women’s Football Convention at the same venue.
The next day the traditional Festival of Football visits associated with the AGM will kick-off at the MDL in Navan. (see schedule below)
The first phase of the proposed changes to the Constitution of the Association will be presented to the
Association’s members at the AGM on 27th July.
AGM Members received a letter of notice concerning the EGM today along with the proposed rule changes.
Draft terms of reference for the new football committees recommended by the Governance Review Group were also forwarded to members along with the EGM notice.
The new recommended football committees are:
1. Football Management Committee
2. International and High Performance Committee
3. Domestic Competitions Committee
4. Club and League Development Committee
5. Under-age and Player Development Committee.
