No referee turned up for rescheduled SHC game

Did anyone know that the Boardsmill v Navan O'Mahonys SHC first round game had been rescheduled for Trim on Friday night at 7.45pm?

Well the players and officials from each club knew about it, but no one told a referee about it.

That should make for some interesting contributions at the Co Board meeting in Dunganny tomorrow night.

The rescheduled SHC first round clash between Boardsmill and Navan O'Mahonys fixed for Trim on Friday evening at 7.45pm did not go ahead there was no referee at the venue..

According to Navan O'Mahonys, the rescheduled SHC first round game was not listed on the Co Board website.

Club delegtaes are regularly reminded at Co Board meetings of the following

 "The webiste is where you will find the correct list of fixtures - don't mind fixtures that appear anywhere else"

Both teams were ready to go at the appointed time on Friday night. 

However, with the light fading on an overcast evening and with no referee everyone that turned up had a wasted journey.
