Navan youth critically injured in Lanzarote

A 15-year-old Navan boy is fighting for his life after falling from a wall in Lanzarote.
The boy who was on holiday with his parents is in a critical condition in the Jose Molina Orosa Hospital in Las Palmas.
He is believed to have suffered a serious head injury after falling from a wall early on Monday morning in Puerto del Carmen.
Emergency services were called to Avenida de las Playas in the resort of Puerto del Carmen early yesterday morning where they found the youth with a serious head injury after falling from the top of a wall.
The Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed it is providing consular assistance.
