Admission free on big day for Navan RFC

 

On Saturday history will be made at Navan RFC grounds at Balreask Old when the local club take on St Mary's in an AIl Div 1B clash -and everyone is invited to attend for FREE!

For the first time a Div 1B AIL match will take place at the home of the Navan club. Following a third promotion in as many years Navan RFC find themselves in AIL Division 1B in the company of famous club names of Irish rugby such as Old Belvedere, Shannon and Old Wesley.

St. Mary‘s College RFC is also a famous name and is home club of 'World Rugby Player of the Year' and Irish out-half Johnny Sexton.

”This is such a huge occasion for all of Navan. The club has decided to throw open the gates to all and offer FREE ADMISSION to ensure a really big home crowd for this truly historic event”, says club President Brian Flanagan.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to see top class rugby right here in Navan and to support captain Conor Ryan and the side that has made us so proud in recent seasons”.
