Over €10,000 worth of drugs seized in Kells house

Revenue officers seized more than €10,000 worth of cannabis and cocaine at a hous ein Kells on Saturday.

Approximately 450g of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €9,000 and 18g of cocaine with an estimated street value of €1,260 were seized following a search of a house in the Kells area.

The joint operation was conducted by Revenue’s Customs Service, the Garda Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and the Drugs Unit based in Slane.

A 34 year old Irish man was arrested by Gardaí at the scene.

Investigations are ongoing.
