World title for Keane Barry

Meath teenager Keane Barry won the Junior World Darts title today at Alexandra Palace, London.

Barry was in action at the Junior Darts Corporation (JDC) final against top Czech Republic opponent Adam Gawlas.

The victory completes a memorable week for the 17-year-old Duleek thrower who became the youngest Irish player to  compete at the PDC's World Championship last Monday.

Barry will face defending champion Leighton Bennett in the BDO World Youth Championship at the Indigo at the O2 in  London on Sunday 12th January.
