€40,000 worth of drugs seized in Navan
Eleven arrests have been made after €40,000 worth of Cocaine and Cannabis, illegal firearms, cash and other items were seized in Navan as part of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the town.
Gardaí attached to Meath Divisional Drugs unit, the Detective Unit at Navan supported by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau have made eleven (11) arrests.
A total of fifteen (15) locations were searched in Navan under warrant issued under section 26 of Misuse of Drugs Act 1984 between the 19th-21st February.
A total of €40,000 worth of cocaine (pending analysis) & cannabis herb (pending analysis), drug-related paraphernalia, illegal firearms, a blade, financial documentation, mobile phones, an English registered Mini Cooper and a sum of cash was seized during the operation.
All eleven (11) individuals arrested are due appear before Trim District Court on Tuesday 3rd March.
