Star man Coscoran scoops 1,500m title
Star of the Sea athlete Andrew Coscoran won the All-Ireland Indoor 1,500m title today and set a new championship record of 3.41 in the process.
Coscoran, who scooped the Meath Athlete of the Year award last week at the annual presentations, set the new record ahead of Brian Fay (Raheny Shamrock) and eclipsed James Nolan's record of 3.44 that was set in 2006.

Trim athlete Shane Aston was edged out of top spot in the final of the 60m hurdle with Gerard O'Donnell (Carrick-on-Shannon) taking the title.
Ratoath AC athlete Conor Duncan took third place in the 800m final behind Mark English and Zak Curran with Bohermeen's Kevim McGrath in sixth place and another ratoath man, Philip Marron in seventh.
