The spread of the Covid-19 virus is a worrying time for us all. SVP St. Cianan's offer to assist those in our community who are experiencing hardship or difficulties Contact our helpline at 0870931068.

Members of Kildalkey Hurling and Camogie Club are offering help to the community and have offered their time and help to elderly people if anyone in the community now. It can help with delivering groceries, collecting groceries and other tasks. Contact (086) 321 3249 or via Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp. 

Dunderry Community Alert group are offering the service of picking up and dropping off shopping for those who are in need during this challenging period. Please let them know through the community alert phone number if you require the service, or are in a position to volunteer to help with providing the service.

Dunderry GAA club has arranged for its members to collect food parcels from local shop, Flanagans and deliver them to people in the area.

It will see members of the public announce ring the shop and place an order. Members of the club will then collect it from the shop and drop the order to the front of houses, maintaining minimal contact with members of the public to reduce the spread of the infection.

Skryne GFC and community have a big ititiative underway to meet the needs of the elderly and vulerable.
