'Do a random act of charity in Joe's memory' - Mullagh man's death in Navan motorcycle crash

The man who died in yesterday's motorbike collision at Kells Road, Navan, has been named as Joseph (Joe) Smith, Leitrim, Mullagh and formerly Carrickspringan, Moynalty.

He is survived by his wife, Caroline; children, Kaitlin, Jaimi-Leigh, Tyler, Brooke, Blake and Ariella; parents, Paddy and Tina;  sisters, Tracy, Nicola and Stephanie; grandmother, Moya, uncles and aunts, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and his large circle of friends.

Due to government advice and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings, a private funeral for immediate family only, will take place in St Kilian's Church, Mullagh on Monday next, 23rd March, at 11am followed by private cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Joe's family request no flowers, but to "please, donate to a charity of your choice or do a random act of kindness in Joe's memory".
