Accommodation offered to frontline worker
We have received very generous offers from Meath people offering their homes/rooms to a frontline worker who was worried about endangering his family and we have passed them on to him.
Meanwhile, it has emerged that Ma Dwyers B&B in Navan are providing accommodation to staff in Our Lady's Hospital in Navan.
The nurse who made the appeal, is not an employee of Our Lady's Hospital, but is working with vulnerable clients and he is terrified of passing on the virus.
He has left his family home during this lockdown period to protect his wife and children.
“I am afraid of becoming infected and passing it on to my family,” he said.
