Top trainer Gordon Elliott had four winners today at Punchestown as the Summerhill man maintained a rich vein of form.

Hollow makes it a four-timer for Gordon Elliott

Navan business couple Noel and Valerie Moran appear to have another class contender for top honours following a generous outlay of €255,000 on Hollow Games which won first time out today at Punchestown to complete a four-timer on the day for trainer Gordon Elliott.

Partnered to victory in the bumper by Jamie Codd, there was nothing hollow about the performance and the trainer was delighted with the result.

"“He’s a real winter horse, he won a point-to-point impressively and is a really exciting horse for Noel and Valerie (Moran). He’s 16.3 and I’d say he’s very good," suggested Elliott in a post-race interview with irishracing.com.

Hollow Games could have the Cheltenham Bumper in March as a target.

Elliott was also on the mark today at the Kildare venue with Pencilfulloflead (Rachel Blackmore in a novice chase), Fury Road (Jack kennedy in a Grade 2 hurdle) and and Abacadabras (Jack Kennedy in the Morgiana Grade 1 hurdle).

Elliott had a winner at both Punchestown and Cheltenham yesterday to maintain a rich vein of form.
