Annual awards at Navan AC
Navan Athletic Club hosted the 2020 awards ceremony at Claremont Stadium last week and this year it was in the form of a socially-distant outdoor event.
Seven awards were handed over after a regular training session and the popular winner of the Alana Russell Memorial Trophy for athlete-of-the-year was Marty Watters.
This was the second year that trophy was presented and the inaugural winner was Sonya Tobin.
Keith Russell was on hand to make the socially-distant presentation and duly congratulated Mary Watters on well-deserved recognition for her achievements over the last 12 months.
