Naas double for Gordon Elliott

Gordon Elliott kept the Meath flag flying at Naas today with a double on the card.

Elliott took the concluding bumper with Eyewitness and he was also on the mark with the JP McManus-owned Minella Till Dawn in a handicap chase.

That winner completed a treble for owner McManus and jockey Mark Walsh who won on the other two for trainer Willie Mullins.

In the race for the NH trainers' title Elliott has trained more winners, but crucially MUllins has accumulated more prizemoney which is the determining factor.

Elliott has five runners in the feature race at Punchestown tomorrow - the €80,000 Punchestown Grand National Trial Handicap Steeplechase (Grade B).
