Tipperary three-miler for Lorna Fowler's Bronson In Blue
Trainer Lorna Fowler was in the winners' enclosure at Tipperary when Bronson In Blue landed a three-mile handicap hurdle for jockey Conor Orr.
"He had been knocking on the door and thank goodness it opened today. His owner Michael Conlon isn't far from me and will be absolutely delighted," commented the trainer to irishracing.com.
Trainer Noel Meade was also on the mark when Sean Flanagan partnered Face The Odds to victory in a beginners' chase at the expense of the Henry De Bromhead-trained favourite Fully Charged.
In the concluding point-to-point bumper the Andy Lynch-trained Douglas Talking got up in the final stride to win by a nose from the Barry Connell-trained My Immortal and the Jim Dreaper-trained Thelasthighking in third place.
