Colgan keeps Meath flag flying at Navan
It was left to jockey Robbie Colgan to keep the Meath flag flying at Navan's flat racing card today.
Colgan was busy and managed to get one winner when he partnered the John Murphy-trained Charterhouse to victory.
Colgan got Charterhouse home in front in a blanket finish to the one-mile contest..
Colgan’s mount prevailed by a neck from Shane Foley and Laelaps with less than a length covering the first four home.
Last time out Colgan was on board Charterhouse in the Ballylinch Stud 2,000 Guineas Trial Stakss at Leopardstown and had also run in Group 1 company previously.
