Yellow Furze pupil set for sprint final
COMMUNITY GAMES
Representing Kentstown - Beauparc Community Games, seven-year-old Feidhleim Seepersad qualified for the national athletics finals in the under-8 60m sprint for the 2021 finals.
He will compete with all the other Meath qualifiers at the National Athletic finals at IT Carlow on Saturday 25th September.
An exceptional footballer with Seneschalstown's under-8s, the Yellow Furze NS second class pupil won through heats at club and county levels.
That earned a place at the regional finals in Leixlip a fortnight ago where once again the seven-year-old produced an excellent performance.
Children from Cavan, Longford, Meath, Monahgan, Offaly and Westmeath were in action at the Kildare venue.
