Gardaí investigate alleged attempted abduction in Mullagh

Gardaí have confirmed they are investigating an alleged abduction in Mullagh last night.

The incident happened in the village yesterday and is believed to have involved a dark coloured vehicle.

It’s understood an occupant of the vehicle attempted to abduct a young boy in the village.

Gardaí have confirmed they “are investigating all the circumstances” of the alleged incident.

A Spokesperson says enquiries are ongoing.
