Heroes welcome home for All-Ireland winners and former Scoil Mhuire girls
There was great delight for the Scoil Mhuire community this week when it got to welcome back four of its past pupils and now, All-Ireland Football Champions!
Both students and staff were thrilled when Emma Troy, Ali Sherlock and of course captain Shauna Ennis took to the stage with the coveted cup in hand. (Unfortunately, Aisling McCabe couldn’t make it)
"It was with great honour and delight that we got to celebrate and welcome back four of our past pupils who were on the All-Ireland winning Meath Ladies Senior Football Team as well as their manager Eamon Murray," said proud principal Jacqueline Maher.
