Death of woman injured in Beauparc house fire

One of two women who were injured in a house fire in Beauparc earlier this year has died in hospital in Dublin.

The younger of the two women died yesterday in St James’ Hospital, where she had been undergoing treatment for serious burns.

One woman, aged 80, was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, while a second woman, in her 40s, was taken to St James' Hospital in Dublin with injuries sustained in the fire which occurred at Beauparc at about 6pm on Wednesday 19th May last.

An 80 year-old man was sent forward to Trim Circuit Court in September charged with arson and endangering the lives of the two.
