Six changes for Meath

With James Toher and Alan Douglas on duty with Trim in the All-Ireland Club IFC final, Paddy Conneely and Keith Keoghan unavailable, Darragh Kelly injured and Ger Murphy on the bench, Meath manager Nick Weir has been forced to make six changes from the side that defeated Kildare in the Joe McDonagh Cup relegation play-off last July for tommorow's NHL Div 2B opener against the Lilywhites.

Kildalkey's Brendan McKeon will make his league debut for the Royals while Drumree's David Reilly and Kildalkey's Paddy Potterton will form a new-look midfield with 17-point hero from that McDonagh cup game Jack Regan named to start at wing forward.

Throw-in at Newbridge has been moved to 12pm to facilitate players, management and supporters who may wish to go to Croke Park to cheer on their Trim team mates Toher and Douglas in their big game.
