Morris transfer approved
Jordan Morris's protracted transfer saga was finally resolved this week with the Nobber and Meath star granted permission to complete his move to neighbouring Kingscourt Stars in Cavan.
Despite switching clubs, Morris is expected to remain part of Andy McEntee's Meath panel and should feature in Sunday's NFL Div 2 clash against Down.
The 2017 Meath Young Footballer of the Year began his playing days with Kingscourt Stars as a juvenile, but featured prominently for Nobber as an adult where he was inspirational in guiding the club to the Meath IFC title in 2019.
Morris made his championship debut for Meath in 2020 when scoring 3-4 in the Leinster SFC win over Wicklow and he continues to be regarded as Meath's main scoring threat.
The transfer to Kingscourt, where Morris now resides, is a major blow for Nobber who have struggles since returning to the intermediate ranks and who have not got off to a great start in 2022.
