Swan's Pub in Curraha is holding a Table Quiz in aid of the Red Cross Ukraine Appeal on Friday night at 9pm. The quiz master is Liam Carroll.

Meanwhile, The Central Bar in Navan will fundraise for the Ukraine Red Cross with an event next Sunday (13th March) from 4pm onwards.

The Central inviting everyone to attend, donate, musically contribute or send spot prizes.

The Ukraine Red Cross was specifically chosen for the efforts on the frontline delivering urgent support directly providing food, fuel, medical supplies and support for housing.

Red Cross teams in Ukraine will continue their work to repair vital infrastructure, support health facilities with medicines and equipment, and support families with food and hygiene items.

The night itself is best described as an open mic style ‘Jamathon’ of music where local musicians from the Central and others collectively support the night in solidarity through music.
