'We need your help!' Donations sought for Ukraine Week
Mellowes Adventure and Childcare Centre in Athboy are holding a ‘Ukraine Week’ (Monday March 21 to Friday March 25) and they are appealing for your help.
Steven Carthy from Mellowes said: “Please, if you can, donate items – they can be dropped to our centre before Friday March 25.
“All items will be given to our federation for transport to Ukraine at the end of March.”
The following is a guide line from the Federation of Early Childhood Providers:
‘We have a revised list of goods for our trip to Poland. We have made contact with a Polish priest here and he has helped us to make contact with a hub near the boarder of Ukraine.
‘We have been given a list of things to gather that they need, and here it is.’
