Retail award for Nobber hardware store

Sean McEntee's Hardware and Agri, Nobber, have won the prestigious award for Best Equestrian Retailer in Ireland.

The awards were launched this year by Tara Lane from Centrepiece Rosettes to recognise the Irish Equestrian business with 12 categories in total. Nominations were made online and was considered by an online interview panel of independent judges.

"We are thrilled and proud to win this award. We are a third generation family run business and just as covid hit we launched our website Www.seanmcentee.ie.

During lockdown we were fortunate enough to be able to stay open and also then service the online community and also offer a click and collect service for local customers.

If people were isolating in the local area we did a free delivery service to their door. Even with the pandemic, animals still also needed to be fed.

Known in the local area as the 'feed fairies' we did our best to see no-one was stuck. To win this award is an amazing accomplishment and we are only going to improve and supply more products going forward," said Zoe Grogan, online sales manager and Equestrian specialist.
