Arrest after Navan drugs seizure

A search was carried out at a residence in Navan at the weekend by detectives attached to Navan Garda Station, assisted by the Meath Divisional Drugs Unit, as part of Operation Tara. During the search, €36,000 worth of suspected cocaine, cannabis and ketamine was seized. One male, in his 20s, was arrested and has appeared before court in relation to this seizure.

Trim Gardaí are investigating a burglary which occurred in the St John's area on bank holiday Monday, sometime between 12.30pm and 6.40pm.
