Ratoath athletes prepare for European challenge

Ratoath Athletic Club's talented young athletes are preparing to compete against some of the best young athletes in Europe in a competition in Spain next month.

The athletes will travel as members of the top junior athletic club in Ireland and have the honour of representing their country in that capacity.

Ratoath AC where named top club at the National Junior Championships in Tullamore recently.

The club will now go forward to compete in the 'Clash of the Clubs' in Castellón, Spain in September competing against the top u-20 athletic clubs in Europe

It's a fantastic achievement for the club and a clear indication of how well the coaches are doing at the club to raise such competitive athletes from a club that has less than ideal space or facilities.

Dates and time:

Saturday 17th September

Semi-final 1: 14:30-17:00

Semi-final 2: 17:30-20:00

Sunday 18th September

Final B: 9:00-11:30

Final A: 12:00-14:30.
