Curtain call in Kells..Performers needed for annual panto
Kells Musical Society celebrates 46 years treading the boards this year and plans are already afoot for the annual pantomime next February.
The society is calling all performers between the ages of six to 70 years to join them for the annual pantomime Red Riding Hood.
Director and writer John Grant says; "We want you to join us for this special show.
"We need teen dancers for great and exciting routines as well as singers and actors.
"The show will consist of acting, singing and dancing. It is open to our current members and we especially welcome new talent and anyone wishing to join - teens, children and adults. There are plenty of parts for all and great fun is guaranteed.
"If you don’t want to go on stage you might like to help out in other ways such as - stage crew / stewarding / front of house / booking office. It’s great to be part of this wonderful society."
Rehearsal Registration and script reading will take place on Tuesday 18th October with registration for children at 7pm. Teens and adults at 8.15pm in Kells theatre. Further details of script and singing auditions will be available on the night.
"It promises to be a great show, displaying all the talents of the performers who will get involved," John says.
