Lally out for rest of AFLW season

Orlagh Lally's AFLW season is over after she picked up a shoulder injury during Fremantle Dockers midweek preparations ahead of last weekend's 29-point loss to Collingwood.

Fremantle Dockers senior physio Gabby Charlton provided an update on the Clann na nGael player's injury and confirmed that her season is over.

“Orlagh had a mid-week incident where she ‘subluxed’ her shoulder,” Charlton said.

“Orlagh’s had previous surgery on this site so we’ve consulted specialists. We’re getting a few scans and deciding on the best path for Orlagh at the moment.”

It is expected that the two-time All-Ireland SFC winning Meath star will cut short her time in Australia and she could well be home for the All-star awards on Saturday 19th November where she is strongly expected to pick up an award following her stellar year for Meath.

Vikki Wall scored three behinds as North Melbourne won 54-29 at Port Adelaide in the AFLW's pride round last weekend.

The win means the Kangaroos stay in the play-off places with two rounds to play.
