Towering display by Meath players in London
The London-based Round Towers won the All-British Intermediate Football Chamionship last weekend and Meath were well represented on the team.
The Round Towers captain was Rebecca Considine and she gratefully accepted the trophy on behalf of her colleagues. Rebecca is from the Royal Gaels club.
Another member of the Royal County contingent on the Round Towers team is Roisin Hogan from the Dunsany club and she also played a significant role in helping the Blues claimed the coveted trophy.
Round Towers defeated Dunedin Connollys who led for much of the game. Next up for the Towers are the Ulster champions. Their journey continues.
