A concelebrated diocesan Mass was held in St Colmcille’s Church, Kells, recently, celebrated by Fr Seamus Houlihan, PP and Fr Michael Walsh, PP. It was attended by Pioneer sectors from all over the diocese. Special prayers were recited in honour of Matt Talbot. Fr Houlihan congratulated those present, who received various certificates and pioneer pins for their commitment to the Association. Members of the Kells Pioneer Centre received their individual pins and certificates and were congratulated by the local president, Brian Curran. A celebratory meal was held in The Headfort Arms Hotel afterwards.
