Amendments to proposed development at Balmoral Industrial Park lodged with council

A PLANNING application seeking permission for amendments to an approved development at the Balmoral Industrial Park in Navan have been lodged with Meath Co Council.

Foxtrot Investments 2011 was given the green light in June 2020 for a development which included a six-storey high apartment and retail building at Balmoral Industrial Park on the Kells Road, with 63 ‘build to rent’ apartments and a discount supermarket on the site.

The new planning application lodged just before Christmas seeks permission for the partial change of use from retail and cafe at ground floor and first floor to healthcare/office use across three units of: Unit 98 sqm, 503 sqm, and 371 sqm with associated office and staff areas at first floor mezzanine level .

A modified 62 sqm cafe unit is provided at the eastern elevation at ground floor level. Elevational amendments, car parking and bicycle parking (32 spaces) are proposed. There are no changes proposed to the footprint of the building as permitted.
