Meath player wins €500,000 in Euromillions draw

Also at the weekend, a Lotto player who bought their ticket in Trim won €51,000 after matching five number and the bonus in Saturday night's Lotto draw

There was more Lotto luck for Meath players at the weekend when an online player scooped the top prize of €500,000 in Friday’s EuroMillions Plus draw, while a ticket sold in Trim won €51,178 in Saturday night's Lotto draw.

The €500,000 winning Euromillions player from Meath purchased their ticket in app or online at www.lottery.ie, and became the 6th player in Ireland to win the EuroMillions Plus top prize to date in 2023.

The National Lottery has confirmed that a notification to the user’s online account and a separate email has now been sent to the lucky Meath ticket holder.

The winning numbers in Friday’s (3rd March) EuroMillions Plus draw were: 12, 19, 23, 34, 48.

In the second big win in Meath over the weekend, another player matched five numbers+ bonus prize in Saturday night's Lotto draw.

The winning Quick Pick ticket for Saturday night’s Lotto draw which is worth €51,178 was sold last Friday at Souhan’s Filling Station on Haggard Street in Trim.

The National Lottery have confirmed that it is still waiting to hear from both of the winners and has asked all players, specifically in the Royal county to check their tickets – both online and physical tickets to see if they are one of the big weekend winners.

The winning numbers in Saturday’s (4th March) Lotto draw were: 03, 04, 08, 40, 41, 44 and the bonus was 12.

The Meath ticketholder for Saturday’s Lotto win is advised to sign the back of their winning ticket and to keep it safe. Both of the big weekend winners should make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.
