Missing Kingscourt teen may have travelled to Tipperary area

Gardaí searching for a missing girl from Kingscourt believe she may have travelled to the Tipperary area.

They are still trying to trace the whereabouts of Ellen O'Reilly (13) almost a week after she was first reported missing.

Ellen was last seen in Kingscourt on Wednesday afternoon, June 7, at approximately 4.30pm.

The 13-year-old is described as being approximately 5 foot 2 inches in height with a slight build, with brown hair and blue eyes.

When last seen, Ellen was wearing a grey hooded jumper, blue jeans and silver shoes.

Anyone with information on Ellen's whereabouts is asked to contact Navan Garda Station on 046 907 9930, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.

A spokesperson for An Garda Siochana informed the Meath Chronicle this morning that the appeal “remains active” at this time.
