Navan RFC well represented in Leinster u-18 squad
Five Navan players have been selected on the Leinster Rugby u-18 clubs squad.
Head head coach Damien McCabe has named a 40-player extended squad for their upcoming summer programme and among those he selected are Navan RFC's Aiden Rennie, Chuck Awadabu, Ciaran Scott, Declan O'Connor and Shaun O'Reilly.
The squad will soon be heading to Swansea, alongside the u-18 girls squad, where they will have a training camp and play warm up games against Gloucester and Cardiff Blues in preparation for the interprovincial series.
The first game of the interprovincial campaign will be an away game to Munster on Saturday, 20 August.
A week later, on Saturday, 26 August, Leinster will play their first home game in Energia Park against Connacht, before finishing their campaign, on the road for to take on Ulster in Belfast, on Saturday 2, September.
