Loads of thrills and spills in second day of schools' finals

The second day of the Cumann na mBunscol Coiste na Mi certainly delivered when it came to providing entertainment and excitement.

The second day of the finals were held in Trim today and the large number of spectators who showed up for the games had plenty to entertain them as teams went about winning their respective finals with gusto - and bring some glory to their schools.

Four finals were played at the venue yesterday and five today with Kilmessan NS taking on and defeating St Paul's NS, Navan in the opening decider, the Div 2 hurling final.

Kiltale got the better of Kill NS in the Div 4 hurling final while St Patrick's, Baconstown defeated Scoil Bhride, Cannistown in the Div 4 camogie decider.

Kilmessan Mixed NS edged out St Dympna's Kildalkey in the Div 2 camogie showdown.

The last final ended with St Michael's, Trim defeating Ratoath Senior NS but only after extra time and only by a point, 1-4 to 1-3.
