Ryan gets ready for Junior Tour of Ireland

Bohermeen cycling club would like to wish Junior rider Ryan Walsh the best of luck as he competes in the Eurocycles Eurobaby Junior Tour of Ireland.

Ryan will be guesting as part of a four man team with the Cycling Leinister Development team.

This is the 43rd edition of the Junior Tour of Ireland. It will take place around the roads of county Clare from Tuesday 11th July until Sunday 16th July with over 520km off racing.

Up to 135 entries for Junior category (16-18 years old) have been received. The domestic teams will face stiff competition from teams travelling to the mid-west from the United States, Canada, England, Scotland, Isle of Man, Netherlands and Portugal.

The race will kick off on Tuesday evening with a short 48 kilometre opener, starting and finishing in Baresfield. On the final stage, the race will take in eight laps of circuit on the outskirts of Ennis.
