Ratoath athletes selected for Youth Olympics

Ratoath Athletic Club's Katie Doherty and Jesse Osas have been selected to compete for Ireland in the European Youth Olympics taking place in Maribor, Slovenia from 24th July.

It is a huge achievement for the Ratoath club to have two athletes represent Ireland at this high level competition.

Doherty is a Ratoath College student who will turn 16 years old at the end of the month, she will compete in the 200m and relay.

Osas, who is 17 years old, is a student in Dunshaughlin Community College and he will compete in the 100m and relay.
